Beaverdam ParkThe following are directions to the Fary’s Mill Rd entrance.9537 Fary's Mill RdGloucester Courthouse VA 23061http://gloucesterva.info/ParksandRecreation/Parks/BeaverdamPark/tabid/358/Default.aspxFrom The Southside: Take HRBT or M&M tunnel to the Peninsula. Continue on I-64 West. Take Route 17 North to the Coleman Bridge. There is a $4 toll for 4 axles northbound. Cross the bridge and continue on Route 17 North for about 17 miles to the stoplight at the intersection of Route 17, Fary's Mill Road (on right) & Ark Road (on left) - there is a Shell Station/convenience Store on the left. Turn right onto Fary's Mill Road and travel about 3 miles. You will cross a small bridge and the forest opens to a marsh area (you can see part of the lake on the right). The Park entrance is just past the bridge.From Richmond area: From Interstate 64 East, take Exit 220, Route 33 - West Point. Travel about 14 miles (you will cross 2 draw bridges). Then turn right onto Route 14 East. Go about 6 miles to the stop sign then turn right onto Route 17 South. Go about 5.5 miles to the stoplight at the intersection of Route 17, Fary's Mill Road (on left) & Ark Road (on right) - there is a Shell Station/convenience Store on the right. Chowan Swamp Game Land (Sand Banks)From North of the VA/NC border:- HWY 58 heading to Suffolk, take the South exit HWY 13- Turn RIGHT continuing on US-13 for about 25 miles- Turn RIGHT on Gatlington Rd, then at stop sign turn LEFT- Turn LEFT on Sandbanks Rd- Turn immediate RIGHT into Horse Parking Lot

Take exit 160 onto NC 561 West. Then turn left onto S.R. 48. Then turn right onto S.R. 1002. Look for the Medoc Mountain Bridle Trails sign and entrance on the left. Follow road to horse parking loop and pavilion.

Take the first Left on Dispatch Rd. Take the first Right on Quaker Rd. In 2.1 miles, turn Right on Cosby Mill Rd. In 1.6 miles, turn Left at the stone gates into Millstone Farm.

Turn Left on Indian Creek Rd by gas station. Travel approximately 4 miles to Equestrian area entrance on right. Main NWRP entrance is just past equestrian area. There will be a little sign with horse on it under HQ sign. Follow signs to parking area. From I-95 (near I-85 junction): Take exit 49 to Rt 460 East. Turn Left at light on Rt 109/Hickory Hill Rd by Hardees. Follow road for only about 1/4 mile; turn Left at Park Headquarters (1539 Hickory Hill Rd). There will be a little sign with horse on it under HQ sign. Follow signs to parking area. There is a vault toilet at parking area.
